Orange Food

Don't be alarmed, but this was my dinner. It was only when I was at the checkout at Whole Foods that I realized that the three food items (citrus glazed salmon, sweet potatoes, and cantaloupe) in my hands were all orange! And, to rub it all in, there was even an orange slice that came with the salmon.
As I walked out of the store, I was tempted by the giant pile of pumpkins. But, alas, I had filled my orange product quota for the month of September.

The only thing you're missing is the classic orange dessert of early fall: CANDY CORN!

I love candy corn but I'm not allowed to eat it unsupervised. But I bet you have better self-control than me.

Now that October is here, I can eat meals of pumpkins, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, orange bell peppers, and candy corn. Oh, and CheezIts.

At first glance, I may appear to have better candy corn self-control, but I have a particular way of eating them one stripe at a time that might also merit some supervision.
