ooh, I did the same thing & it made me so sad...did you know that you CAN'T wash off e coli ? Even with a diluted Chlorine solution...it has to be BOILED away..time to get those good winter cooking greens..Kale is one of my favorites !

I should probably mention that this was kind of old, and that we did in fact eat some of it, but maybe 2 weeks ago(?). If we didn't get sick, I assume that means it wasn't contaminated, but it still needed to be thrown in the trash (the sad fate of way too much of our food...)
